Norman's Real Estate Journey

I was born on the East Coast in Worcester, Mass. After graduating from college, I spent 7 years teaching high school physics, chemistry, and math. Being an avid sports fan, I also spent time as head baseball and basketball coach while teaching.

With a growing family, I then moved into sales of Medical and Nuclear Instrumentation, mostly for biological research. I was involved in the takeover of a company and became fascinated with the workings of Mergers and Acquisitions, which led me to the financial field. I spent time training on Wall Street, which resulted in 16 years in the business. Afterward, I decided to stop traveling and settle down in Mission Viejo in Orange County in 1984.

While working for a marketing group in Orange County, we developed a meaning of the word commitment, which still applies today:

"Commitment is what transforms dreams into reality. It is the word that speaks boldly of your intentions and the actions that speak louder than the words. It is the making of time when there is none. It is the stuff that makes up character. It is coming through – time after time, year after year.”

In 1986, I became a licensed Real Estate Agent and have been actively involved in all aspects of the business for over 30 years. My previous background has given me a unique perspective along with the tools to handle all types of transactions. There is no substitute for experience when negotiating difficult transactions and bringing them to successful conclusions. So when looking for an agent who has commitment, ability, and determination – call me. Probably “I’ve done that and been there.”
